The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board today declared result of 12th science stream. The overall pass percentage is 72.99 percent which is around 9 percent less than last year.
This year also girls have outshined boys with 74.91 percent girls clearing the exams while pass percentage of boys is 71.84 percent. English medium students scored better than Gujarati with overall pass percentage of 75.58 percent. While the result of Gujarati medium is 72.45 percent.
Rajkot district recorded the highest result of 85.03 percent while Chhota Udepur had the lowest result of 35.64 percent. Dhrol centre got the highest result of 95.65 while Bodeli centre got lowest result of 27.61 percent.
As many as 42 schools in the state got 100 percent result. 26 schools got less than 10 percent result.
136 students got A1 grades and 2838 got A2 grades.
A total of 1,34,352 students appeared for the exams and 98,067 students cleared the exams.
A look at the results shows that students scored cent percent in language subjects. the result is 100 percent in Gujarati, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Arabic. While the Mathematics result is 78.80 percent, physics is 79.49 percent, Chemistry 73.96 percent and Biology 72.44 percent.
