Intex Launches 3D phone at less than Rs 4000

Intex Technologies has launched the Avatar, a 3D touch phone. The Avatar is a dual SIM 3D touch phone. A pair of 3D glasses also comes bundled with the phone. The phone also has other features like built-in games like Crazy Birds, Fruit Ninja, Pentachess, Call of Atlantis, Yumsters and social networking sites, such as Google, Yahoo and Facebook.

The Avatar is a dual SIM, GSM+GSM, phone with a a 2MP camera, with LED flash and has a 2.8-inch stereoscopic display. The phone can convert 2D images and video content into 3D with the touch of a button and also the other way round.

The Avatar will come with 10 pre-loaded films on its bundled 4GB microSD card. Avatar also supports both English and Hindi languages. Like most Intex phones, the Avatar will feature the Intex Zone, an assortment of apps, such as an answering machine, mobile tracker, and auto call record.

Sanjay Kumar, GM, Mobile Business at Intex said that “India has evolved in adoption of 3D technology. Keeping consumer needs in mind we have introduced this novel feature. Intex is poised to provide unique offerings to all the technology enthusiasts with products such as ‘INTEX AVATAR’ that provide an enriched experience to long standing customers in India and abroad.”

Going by the features in the phone its price tag of Rs 3,690 is very attractive.
