Children’s University has organised a two day National seminar on early childhood care and development. This is to focus on all aspects of development of a child right from the birth until he attains the age of 18.Giving details of the seminar vice chancellor of the children’s University Harshad Shah said that about 500 people from Gujarat and other parts of the country will participate in it. It will be held in Gandhinagar on November 22.
He further pointed out that in the seminar probably first-of-its-kind in the country about 200 research papers will be read out presented from experts on child care and development. Giving details of the themes of the seminar he said it would include child development and psychology, Holistic development in early childhood, child development and Bhartiya thinking, learning without burden, novel methods of evaluation, ICT and mass media in CCCD, policy perspective on CCCD , role of family parents and Society, multi linguistic approach and its effect on a child and child as a person
Among speakers it will have professor Chandra Bhushan Sharma president of National Institute of Open Schooling, Atul Kothari, National Secretary ShikshaSamskruti, Utthan Nyas, R G Kothari former vice chancellor of Veer Narmad University Surat, Sachchidanand Joshi.
The university set up 10 years ago is focusing on the all round development of a child while promoting different aspects that affect the growth of a child. In fact this is a University which aims to train different aspect different agents who play a very major role in the growth of a child professional chassis professor Shah says. He says every child matters and if we go for the all-round growth of a child it is not only helpful for the child but also to the society and the country.It is for preparing a better world that the university is working, Shah says
