PM in Kutch for DGP meet

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be on an official visit to Kutch from Friday to attend All India Director General of Police (DGP) meet.

The Prime Minister will arrive in Bhuj. He will then proceed to Dhordo to attend the meet.

PM is likely to address the meeting where top cops and chiefs of various intelligence agencies are expected to chalk out an action plan to counter the threat of Islamic State, especially in the wake of Paris attacks.

He will hand over to the Chief Minister Anandiben Patel, the certificate of posthumous reinstatement of Shyamji Krishna Varma to the bar, by London’s Society of the Inner Temple. The Prime Minister had received this certificate in London during his UK visit in November 2015.
