Samsung Launches Galaxy Duos range of Dual SIM Android phones

Samsung has launched a range of dual SIM android phones on Tuesday. The company launched the Galaxy Ace Duos, Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos in the country. These phones are the dual SIM versions of the already popular Galaxy Y and Galaxy Ace phones.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos is the Dual SIM GSM+CDMAA version of Galaxy Ace powered by an 832MHz processor with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The Dual SIM Dual Active technology allows users to use both the GSM and CDMA functions simultaneously. The phone has a 3.5-inch HVGA display, EvDO Rev A capability which allows 3.1Mbps download speeds over CDMA network and is powered with a 1,650mAh battery that offers up to 7h talk time.

The Galaxy Y Duos has 3.14-inch QVGA TFT touch LCD screen and a 3 MP camera. The galaxy Y Duos also has an 832MHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It has 384MB RAM, 512MB ROM and supports expandable memory up to 32GB. THE phone comes with 3G (HSDPA 7.2Mbps), Bluetooth v 3.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, aGPS and a 1,300 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos has similar specs to the Galaxy Y Duos but comes with a 2.6-inch LQVGA TFT LCD display and a Full QWERTY keyboard.

The Samsung Ace Duos has a price tag of Rs 16,899. The Samsung Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos are priced at Rs 10,490 and Rs 11,090 respectively.
