The incident occurred on June 20 during a virtual hearing presided over by Justice Nirzar S Desai. A video showing the man, Samad Abdul Rehman Shah, relieving himself during the live-streamed session went viral, prompting the court to take suo motu cognizance. A division bench comprising Justices A.S. Supehia and R.T. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) stopped collecting tolls on this section of the road on Tuesday because they are fixing it. This toll stoppage is for Package-4 of the Sanchore-Santalpur area (NH-754K), which is part of the Bharatmala project. NHAI said that the toll fees were stopped at 8 a.m. and will stay off until the road work is done, so people can travel without much trouble.
