GIFT city gets new CEO Gujarat Global News Network 2001-batch IAS officer Sanjay Kaul has been appointed as as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of GIFT City Company Ltd.He will serve on deputation for a period of three years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, from the date he assumes charge. An officer of Kerala Kaul is serving as joint secretary ministry of culture. He served in Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd earlier.

Toll collection temporarily suspended

Toll fees are stopped for now on a 28.7 km part of the Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressway. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) stopped collecting tolls on this section of the road on Tuesday because they are fixing it. This toll stoppage is for Package-4 of the Sanchore-Santalpur area (NH-754K), which is part of the Bharatmala project. NHAI said that the toll fees were stopped at 8 a.m. and will stay off until the road work is done, so people can travel without much trouble. The Sanchore-Santalpur road is 125 km long and links Rajasthan to the Patan area in Gujarat. It's an important road for business. અમદાવાદ સ્થિત ઝોડિયાક એનર્જી લિમીટેડને અમદાવાદ મ્યુનિસિપલ કોર્પોરેશન દ્વારા સોલાર પ્રોજેકટ સ્થાપવા માટે રૂ. 154 કરોડનો ઓર્ડર આપવામાં આવ્યો છે. તેમ ઝોડિયાક એનર્જી કંપનીએ સ્ટોક એક્સચેંજને જણાવ્યું હતું. ઝોડિયાક એનર્જી લિમીટેડને અમદાવાદ મ્યુનિસિપલ કોર્પોરેશન (AMC) તરફથી ગુજરાત રાજ્યમાં 30MW ગ્રાઉન્ડ માઉન્ટેડ સોલાર પ્રોજેક્ટ્સની ડિઝાઇન, સપ્લાય, ઇન્સ્ટોલેશન, ટેસ્ટિંગ અને કમિશનિંગ માટેનો ઓર્ડર આપવામાં આવ્યો છે, જેમાં 5 વર્ષ માટે ઇરેક્શન, ઓપરેશન અને મેઇન્ટેનન્સ અને લીઝ/પેટાલીઝનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. આ 30MW ગ્રાઉન્ડ માઉન્ટેડ સોલાર પ્રોજેક્ટ્સ પ્રોજેકટની કોસ્ટ રૂ. 154.27 કરોડ થાય છે. ઝોડિયાક એનર્જી લિમીટેડના ચેરમેન કુંજ શાહે ઓર્ડર અંગે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, અગાઉ માર્ચ મહિનમાં અમદાવાદ મ્યુનિસિપલ કોર્પોરેશન (AMC) તરફથી ગુજરાત રાજ્યમાં 30 MW ગ્રાઉન્ડ માઉન્ટેડ સોલાર પ્રોજેક્ટ્સની ડિઝાઇન, સપ્લાય, ઇન્સ્ટોલેશન, ટેસ...
